There are so many kids party venues out there it’s hard to decide which one would suit your needs without at least visiting a few of them. Luckily Cape Townians are all about the parties so any given year your child should be invited to at least a handful of parties so you can test drive the venues without the all the pressure of hosting. If you still haven’t found the perfect then you take a look at the list of awesome party venues in the Northern Suburbs that I’ve compiled, to make choosing your venue a little bit easier.
Planning a party at Bugz is really easy and convenient, they decorate your station, prepare treat bags and kids food, you can even order platters for the adults attending and on top of that, all the kids can make use of the rides and entertainment in the park after the party. An important note though, adults are charged an entrance fee, so factor in that cost in addition to the cost per child unless you are going to ask your guests to pay for themselves. They are situated in Kraaifontein, visit their website for more information.
Eaglevlei Playpark is situated on a beautiful wine farm in Stellenbosch. Eaglevlei provides kids food and party packs and an area for you to set up your party. You need to bring your own decor. The great thing about Eaglevlei is that parents do not have to pay for entry, the not so great thing is that the play area gets really hot so make sure to keep the kids hydrated. You can visit Eaglevlei’s website here.
Situated in Rosendal, Bellville, BASH offers the most amazing party themes from pamper parties to cooking classes. They have a number of package options to suit your budget and taste. They do not have extensive play areas like Bugz or Eaglevlei but they are opening another branch in Paarl soon that will have a 200m2 play area. BASH does have the most beautiful indoor play area though. Visit their website.
Chalkwood House (Chalkwood Nursery School by day) is situated in Sunningdale. The venue is beautifully decorated and packages are reasonable but do not include food. You have the option of renting the venue with or without themed decor. They have optional extras like photographers, balloon sculptors, face painters etc. This option is really for the parent who wants to put their personal stamp on their childs party in beautiful surroundings. Visit their website here.
